Sandy Maliga has created films, videotapes and video installations since the 1960s. Her work has been shown throughout the United States and in Great Britain and Ireland. She taught film and video making in an art context for more than two decades and has been the recipient of national awards and project grants. Her work addresses family interactions, daily life, memory, gender roles and sustainable technologies. She is married to John Maliga and has three grown children.
